Dr. Oliver Breiden currently heads the program office and innovation team at METRO PROPERTIES, the real estate subsidiary of METRO GROUP. With its sales divisions, METRO Cash & Carry, Real hypermarkets, and MediaMarkt Saturn electronics stores, METRO GROUP operates over 2,000 retail and wholesale stores in more than 30 countries. Oliver will explore the future role of brick-and-mortar stores in an eCommerce era. He will be showcasing store projects realised with different online retailers as well as the finding from THE INSPIRATION STORE project by METRO GROUP, eBay, and PayPal.
